Riana's Breakfast Trifle


Ingredients (4 servings)
250 ml muesli, lower fat (1 cup)
250 ml low fat yoghurt, vanilla flavoured or plain (1 cup)
400 g fruit, such as pawpaw, apple, mango, berries, guava, etc.
250 ml low fat custard, artificially sweetened (1 cup)

How to make it
  1. Spoon half of the muesli into a glass bowl or individual dessert glasses.
  2. Layer half of the yoghurt, fruit and custard on top of the muesli.
  3. Repeat the layers.
  4. Refrigerate overnight to soften the muesli, if desired.
If apple or pear is used, drizzle with a bit of lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
If banana is used, dip the whole banana with the skin, into boiling water to prevent
discoloration.
