Riana's Breakfast Trifle
Ingredients (4 servings)
250 ml muesli, lower fat (1 cup)
250 ml low fat yoghurt, vanilla flavoured or plain (1 cup)
400 g fruit, such as pawpaw, apple, mango, berries, guava, etc.
250 ml low fat custard, artificially sweetened (1 cup)
How to make it
- Spoon half of the muesli into a glass bowl or individual dessert glasses.
- Layer half of the yoghurt, fruit and custard on top of the muesli.
- Repeat the layers.
- Refrigerate overnight to soften the muesli, if desired.
If apple or pear is used, drizzle with a bit of lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
If banana is used, dip the whole banana with the skin, into boiling water to prevent
discoloration.
