Terms & Conditions

Instructions on how to nominate and enter the Sweet Talk Awards 2011 ("Awards") including these terms and conditions, form part of the conditions of entry. Nominating or making a submission is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
The Awards are aimed at recognising people with or affected by diabetes (excluding the healthcare professional category). Entrants may be required to present evidence confirming this.
The Awards are open to all Australian residents, except for employees of Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA) and any company, their families, or anyone else who is professionally associated with the Awards.
Automated online entries will be rejected, including multiple entries from the same IP address.
The opening date for entries is the 10 July 2011 and the closing date is midnight on 31 August 2011 AEST.
Completed entries must be sent via www.sweettalkdiabetes.com. Entry submissions can only be made via the online nomination form only.
RDA accepts no responsibility for submissions not received for any reason. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.
The Awards are open to both customers and non-customers of RDA, and are not subject to purchasing any of the RDA products.
Nominees for the Awards must be permanent residents and/or citizens of Australia.
A shortlist of finalists will be selected by a panel of judges. Only those entries that aptly meet the selection criteria will be considered for the final shortlist.
All entrants of the Awards, may be required to provide additional supporting information to verify their entry claims, such as, but not limited to, partaking in certain activities or events, proof of caring, winning an award(s) or recognition of achievement. Entrants must submit this additional information or verification of information as requested.
All entrants agree that they may be required to provide an appropriate photograph of themselves for display on www.sweettalkdiabetes.com or other online and offline material.
All entrants also agree, upon entry, the nominator and/or the nominee may be profiled in the media.
Entrants nominating someone other than themselves will, upon completion of the entry, assume responsibility for informing the nominee of their actions and take full responsibility for the nominee’s participation in the program and associated activities.
Use of false name or address, e.g. name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from the Awards.
The decision of the Judging Panel is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
All nomination material, submission material and any other information submitted by the nominator or the nominee in relation to the Awards remains the property of RDA. Information provided by the nominator or the nominee in relation to the Awards may be used for marketing purposes.
RDA may, in its sole discretion, alter or cancel the Awards in part or entirety at anytime.
RDA will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever which directly or indirectly results from participation in the Awards.
Finalists under the legal consent age will require the approval of a parent and or guardian.
RDA reserves the right to alter prize options at any point during the Awards process.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. In the event that RDA is unable to provide the nominated reward, RDA may supply an alternative reward of similar value.
Roche Diagnostics (RDA) guarantees that the information collected is confidential and will not be disclosed to other parties (except those who are professionally associated with the Awards. By providing your information, you agree to RDA contacting you for direct marketing and market research (by RDA only) for an indefinite period.
